UPDATE 18 March 14.32

The Scottish Government has today announced that all schools will close from Friday 20 March 2020 with no set date for re-opening as yet.  We know that there will be lots of questions following this decision and as soon as we have more information to provide we will do that as quickly as possible.

School & Nursery closed from this Friday end of day until further notice.

UPDATE 17 March 2020 17.25

After reading the advice we circulated from Health Protection Scotland, a few staff have confirmed that they will be following the protocol and will now be working from home effective 18 March 2020. This will affect all stages across the nursery and school as we continue to ensure all pupils are supervised appropriately.

This may mean classes could be split up or will be supervised by a different teacher. Whilst we endeavour to minimise disruption for pupils, as you can appreciate, these are exceptional circumstances, so decisions are being made on a daily basis of how best to allocate the staff that we have. We know MPS Families will understand that we are trying to do our best.

UPDATE 17 MARCH 2020 morning

MPS Families were sent an email yesterday to advise that effective Tuesday 17 March until Easter break all clubs, events, outings, meetings will be cancelled. Dates for Diary on our website will be updated to reflect this move in due course.

Kids Club and Safe Start services continue as normal at this time.

Thanks to all our Families for their understanding and helping us follow this advice.
